Tejuelo

Privacy

Your bookmarks stay on your Mac and in your iCloud account. I never see them.

Last updated 19 October 2026. Tejuelo and this site are made by Alberto Gallego. Questions about this page go to hello@albertogalca.com.

Your bookmarks

Tejuelo stores your bookmarks and categories on your Mac. If iCloud is on, they sync through the private database of your own iCloud account, which Apple runs under its own privacy policy. There is no Tejuelo account and no Tejuelo server. I have no way to read, export or delete your bookmarks.

What the app sends over the network

Tejuelo makes a few requests to do its job. None of them carry an identifier for you.

Those services see your IP address, as any web request does.

The MCP server

The MCP server is off until you turn it on in Settings. When it’s on, it listens only on 127.0.0.1, so nothing outside your Mac can reach it, and it answers only programs holding the token Tejuelo generates. An AI assistant you connect can read and change your bookmarks, and what it does with them is governed by that assistant’s own policy. Details on the MCP page.

The app collects nothing else

No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers, no tracking. The clipboard is read only when you open Quick Add with that setting on, and the address stays on your Mac.

This website

tejuelo.com uses Seline to count visits and downloads. Seline sets no cookies and stores no personal data. The site runs on Cloudflare, which keeps standard request logs for security. There are no forms and no ads.

Email

If you write to me, I keep the email so I can reply and remember the conversation. I don’t add you to any list and I don’t share it with anyone. Ask and I’ll delete it.
